A: Because your target audience isn’t just the end-user. OTC Beauty targets the retailers – the decision-makers who purchase multicultural beauty inventory for their stores. We are the ONLY publication that caters to this unique audience. Our readers prefer the hard copies of the magazine and have been slow to migrate online. While second-generation store owners gravitate to the digital space, most of our audience still uses cash registers over POS and prefers hard copy over digital.
As we expand into the digital space with our audience, we encourage you to purchase placements in print and online to ensure the highest impressions amongst all of our readers.

ARTWORK SUBMISSIONS

Q: Can I submit my artwork via email or through a file-transferring website (WeTransfer, Dropbox, etc.)?

A: No. Advertisers must submit their files via our F TP site – this ensures we receive your files.
If you have not received your login credentials, please contact the advertising manager.

 

Q: When are my artwork and editorials due?

A: Artwork and editorials are due 45 days before the placement’s publish date. For specific
dates, please review the Editorial Calendar on page 9. For your convenience, an Insertion
Order is emailed to you 60 days in advance of your placement’s run date.

 

Q: What happens if I don’t sign or submit my Insertion Order?

A: OTC Beauty reserves the right to run any artwork available on file as your placement, per your advertising agreement. If you do not have artwork on file, you will still be charged.
Insertion Orders serve as a deadline reminder and a formal indication of what you’ll be
submitting. We will send one final reminder via email if your Insertion Order or artwork has not been received by the deadline as a courtesy. Failure to sign or correctly fill out your Insertion Order will not void your obligation to pay for your placement.

 

Q: Can I get an extension on my artwork submission?

A: Deadline extensions are at the discretion of the editor. If you foresee a delay in submission, please contact the advertising manager as soon as possible to make a request.

 

 

PAYMENTS

Q: Can I make my payment with a credit card or ACH?

A: As of now, OTC Beauty only accepts checks or money orders as a form of payment.
