Her passion for the hair has led her to own various salons and salon suites, serve as a platform artist and educator, and work with multiple Fortune 500 companies to support the growth of their businesses. Among numerous accolades for her craft and design, Thompkins has competed in and won various local and national hair competitions and has also appeared on the TLC television show “My Big Fat Fabulous Wedding”.
