A slew of seminars will be held for marketers at the event, including the session “2 Global Key Trends for the US Market For Spring/Summer 2019” hosted by Jennifer Karuletwa, the U.S. Business Development Director for Peclers Paris.
OTC Beauty Magazine briefly chatted with Karuletwa to discuss the seminar and the expected impact of the forthcoming trends.
OTC: What are some of the macro trends that will shape the key trends being discussed in this presentation?
Karuletwa: We’ll explore how Nature has evolved for Spring 2019 as a key influencer and also look at how the body is the chosen medium to access an emotionally and sensorial-charged reality.
OTC: How will some of these trends impact beauty businesses like OTC beauty supply stores?
Karuletwa: The trends that we’re going to explore will impact beauty businesses like OTC beauty supply stores by dictating which products retailers should be carrying to meet consumer’s new needs and desires. These macro trends also impact in store experiences that are critical for brick and mortar businesses to embrace.
OTC: Can you share a little bit about what readers can expect to see in 2019 in regards to ingredient innovations?
Karuletwa: We’ll see more natural ingredients in the raw form inspired by nature that also create a heightened tactile experience
OTC: What can attendees expect to gain from your presentation?
Karuletwa: I hope that attendees will walk away with insights to inspire new and innovative products and marketing concepts for 2019!
