Shedavi kicked off the beauty-centric weekend with a special “Throwback Thursday’s”, a R&B/Soul preview party at Atlanta’s all-new Aurum Lounge with a full band featuring Kari Epps (BGV for Akon) on Thursday, April 19th, 2018. Saturday, The CROWNED collection officially made its public debut at the world’s largest 2 day natural hair show, the 21st Annual WORLD Natural Hair and Healthy Lifestyle Event, on April 21st and 22nd. Shedavi Founder Elizabeth Davis was joined by star of Bravo TV’s Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams to unveil the CROWNED collection, take pictures with product purchasers and interact with the crowd of excited natural hair enthusiasts and industry professionals. Davis and Williams discussed how to CHERISH ONESELF, the many benefits of the new collection of Shedavi hair products, being black girl magic in the beauty industry and all things healthy hair. Shedavi booth attendees had a line wrapped around the corner for complimentary scalp analysis by licensed trichologist Dr. Osasere Shomorin. The Shedavi CROWNED collection concluded their debut weekend with a private media, influencers and friends (Issa Rae inspired), “Lemon Pepper Kickback” at the exclusive Martell Blue H.O.M.E. pop-up private condo experience.
Shedavi’s CROWNED collection is set to launch online on Friday, May 4th. The collection is infused with vegan botanicals, B-vitamins, agave nectar and hibiscus for thickness, growth, strength, moisture and length retention.
